ora2know at Oracle AI word tour Frankfurt

On March 12, 2026, the Oracle AI World Tour stopped at Kap Europa at Messe Frankfurt, and ora2know was there. Oliver Pyka and Robert Marz represented the German Oracle community together with DOAG at the Oracle User Groups booth.

The Oracle AI World Tour is Oracle’s free, one-day conference series, making stops in numerous cities worldwide in 2026. In Frankfurt, the focus was on AI-driven innovations across the Oracle portfolio: from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to the Oracle AI Database and Fusion Cloud Applications. In the opening keynote, Andreas Kiessling, Vice President Technology Sales at Oracle Germany, explained how AI is transforming the way companies handle data, operations, and automation. Additional speakers such as Richard Smith (EVP Technology EMEA) and Kodi Umamageswaran (SVP Exadata & Scale-Out Technologies) provided insights into Oracle’s AI roadmap.

Alongside the main program sessions, “The Hub” offered an exhibition area with interactive demos, hands-on labs, and live presentations — a great opportunity to try out new technologies firsthand. The motto “AI changes everything” was a thread running through the entire event. For us at ora2know, the day was above all an opportunity to engage with the community, nurture contacts, and raise the visibility of the Oracle User Groups at one of the larger Oracle events in Germany.

Our conclusion: The Oracle AI World Tour is worthwhile — both in terms of content and networking. And it confirms how important it is for user groups to have a presence at events like these.
