“Seamlessly” — that could well serve as the motto of this event. Maria Colgan, Vice President of Product Management for AI and Mission-Critical Data in the Oracle Database team, used the word several times and impressed the audience with her expertise and the eloquent way she presented the innovations from Oracle AI World.

From the very first moment, the participants were captivated and, even after what Michael Trumpler called a “pressure refueling,” they remained fully engaged until the end, listening attentively and participating actively. That’s what makes it enjoyable for both speakers and organizers.

After the theoretical part about the AI functionalities in the new Oracle AI Database 26 ai, Johannes Michler (Oracle ACE Director) demonstrated the practical benefits. Among other things, he showed a remarkable example of using an Oracle 26ai Free as a “Native Language SQL” backend to access an Oracle 19c E-Business database. The audience was amazed by what is already possible today — even though the on-premises version of Oracle 26 is still pending release.

Martin Klier (Oracle ACE Director) contributed to his MAA presentation with a nostalgic image from long ago: his first high availability architecture for Oracle, dating back to 2005 — still as valuable today as it was then.

Robert Marz (Oracle ACE Pro) provided insights into JSON, and finally, I, Johannes Ahrends (Oracle ACE), was able to share a few tips about Multitenant.

That’s exactly the problem I had yesterday,” one participant remarked afterward — perfect!
The hospitality of teccle Motion GmbH added the finishing touch to an exceptionally successful day. Many thanks for that.

Thanks to all the speakers, participants, and teccle Motion GmbH — and above all:
Thank you, Maria!
