On May 22, 2025, the moment finally arrived: the APEX Frankfurt Meetup is back — and with fresh momentum at ora2know – The German Oracle Database Community. The community gathered at the Syntegris offices in Neu-Isenburg for an informative evening of compelling presentations, professional exchange, and plenty of great conversations.
The programme delivered:
- Jannis Beck shared tips and tricks around SQL Developer for VS Code.
- Robert Marz introduced advanced API development with ORDS.
- Sven Weller delivered a pointed teaser on Green IT from a Developer’s Perspective, which sparked an open discussion over drinks afterwards.
After the talks, we moved on to a nearby Thai restaurant, where the evening wound down in a relaxed atmosphere. The topic of Green IT in particular was explored further there — without any slides, but with plenty of opinions, ideas, and perspectives.
Conclusion: A strong relaunch for the APEX Frankfurt Meetup, with lots of input and an appetite for more. And that is exactly the plan: we want to meet regularly again in the future. Next time, the agenda will feature a review of the ODTUG KScope Conference.
